Como medir os tempos de solicitação e Resposta de uma só vez usando o cURL?

tenho um serviço web que recebe dados no formato JSON, processa os dados, e depois devolve o resultado ao solicitante.

quero medir o pedido, a resposta e o tempo total usando cURL.

O meu pedido de exemplo parece:
curl -X POST -d @file server:port

e eu, de momento, medimos isto usando o comando time no Linux:

time curl -X POST -d @file server:port

o comando de tempo apenas mede o tempo total o que não é bem o que eu estou procurando.

existe alguma forma de medir os tempos de pedido e resposta usando cURL?

O CURL suporta a saída formatada para os detalhes do pedido (ver a página de encadernação para mais detalhes , em -w, –write-out <format>). Para os nossos propósitos, vamos concentrar-nos apenas nos detalhes de tempo que são fornecidos. Os tempos abaixo são em segundos .

  1. Criar um novo ficheiro, formato curl.txt e colar em:

         time_namelookup:  %{time_namelookup}s\n
            time_connect:  %{time_connect}s\n
         time_appconnect:  %{time_appconnect}s\n
        time_pretransfer:  %{time_pretransfer}s\n
           time_redirect:  %{time_redirect}s\n

O que isto faz:

-w "@curl-format.txt" diz ao cURL para usar o nosso ficheiro de formato
-o /dev/null redirecciona o resultado do pedido para /dev / null
-s diz ao cURL para não mostrar um medidor de progresso
"http://wordpress.com/" é a URL que pedimos. Usar as aspas, particularmente se o seu URL tiver os parâmetros de " & " query string


E aqui está o que você tem verso:

   time_namelookup:  0.001s
      time_connect:  0.037s
   time_appconnect:  0.000s
  time_pretransfer:  0.037s
     time_redirect:  0.000s

Criar um programa independente Linux/Mac

Este script não necessita de um separado .ficheiro txt para conter a formatação.

Crie um novo ficheiro, curltime, algures no seu caminho executável, e cole em:

Opção 1.{[9] } para medir total time:

Se quiser analisar ou resumir a latência, pode tentar o banco apache:

Outra opção que é talvez a mais simples em termos da linha de comandos é adicionar a opção incorporada --trace-time:

curl -X POST -d @file server:port --trace-time

Apesar de tecnicamente não produzir os horários das várias etapas, como solicitado pelo OP, ele mostra os horários para Todos os passos do pedido, como mostrado abaixo. Usando isto, você pode (bastante facilmente) calcular quanto tempo cada passo tomou.
